"Never seen the same again."
The Kunstkammer was specifically designed to contain a jewel collection. Inspired by the jewels that would be displayed on the inside, i developed the concept of "never seen the same again." Each jewel, even the same jewel, is viewed differently by each person that lays eyes on it. everything about the environment around the jewel changes every second, either through sunlight, air pollution, or temperature. Each of these changes causes a change in how the jewel is seen. Through my concept I created a complex series of facades to refract or block light from entering the museum the same. Through the series of facades the museum would take on a quality much light the jewels to never be seen the exact same again.
Final Design Board
