The Spirit of Oklahoma State University resides in each individual who attends or visits the campus. The campus spirit flows through everyone, creating connections between people where otherwise it might not have been possible. Oklahoma State takes pride in their unique spread of national and international students. Through the vast array of majors and minors, the university brings students from all over the world and integrates its spirit within each of them. The Oklahoma State University Alumni is one of the most proud and loyal group of alumni joined together for a common purpose. They strive to integrate this spirit into each visitor and student to ever visit the campus of Oklahoma State.
The orange rectangular paneled skin creates a distinctive flowing characteristic. The skin represents the proud and loyal alumni and students who reverently serve the university and exemplify what it means to have the OSU spirit flowing through them. The space truss underneath the paneled skin reveals the connections each one of us must have to create something great. The space truss connects itself through thousands of connections, each one as intricate and personal as the next. this creates a network of connections to form a strong truss. The seven columns holding up the space truss represent the seven letters of "Cowboys," connecting all through the university spirit.
